Lavender Lemonade

Homemade lemonade offers therapeutic benefits thanks to its fruity contents. Lemon juice is a great source of many nutrients and can give the immune system a boost. With the addition of lavender, lemonade becomes especially helpful for stressed-out minds.

Recipe

  • 3 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • ¼ cup dried lavender flowers
  • 4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Bring sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Stir in lavender. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes. Strain, discarding lavender. Let cool. Stir in lemon juice. Serve over ice, and garnish with fresh lavender sprigs.
