What to Plant in August
Spring is almost upon us. The largest planting season of the year for most climates. How many tomato plants do you need? There can never be enough in my estimation.
The good bang for your buck plants are cucumber and zucchini’s which take up not too much space and literally throw fruit at you. This should help with the mortgage and inflation blues.
Build on your successes and get to work reducing your food bills. Cherry tomatoes can cost a pretty penny at the store, especially the colourful ones and beans are a very reliable crop to grow.
Get your summer meadow in early for lots of colour and fragrance and to feed the army of insects that will help to patrol your garden.
