A micro green which is great in soups, salads and garnishes giving dishes a fresh peppery taste. Can also be used in the same way as spinach. It can be grown indoors or out all year round.
It is also dead end trap for White Cabbage Moths who can’t resist laying their eggs on the leaves. When the eggs hatch, the caterpillars eat the cress leaves and are killed straight away, long before they have a chance to munch on your crops!
