Carrot Nantes Darcy is a French originating heirloom that forms beautiful 15-20cm long, fine-grained carrots that are virtually coreless. They are cylindrical in shape with blunt ends that do well in a heavier soil.
The firm skin ranges from bright orange to orange-red and they are crunchy and tender with a mild, sweet taste.
An excellent variety for early and successional crops, they store well and are a good candidate for deep freezing.
